FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need to be "fit" to get started?
We will turn you into a lean, mean and healthy fat burning machine, but we will also meet you where YOU are at. Our trainers are experts at knowing when to PUSH YOU and when to tone it down.
What type of training do you do?
You get a fresh new format every week. Most of our workouts are HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workouts since they get you fit fast. Our workouts combine free weights, cardio and core.
What equipment do you use?
While our locations may vary slightly, we use a combination of free weights, barbells, sleds, squat racks, slam balls, TRX suspension trainers, battle ropes, punching bags, kettle bells, sliders, pullup bars, mini bands, jump ropes, bands, and plyoboxes as well agility ladders. And simply your body.
What body parts do you focus on each day?
While each location may vary, an example is: Monday: Full Body Core/Cardio Tuesday: Upper Body Wednesday: Core Cardio Thursday: The Ultimate leg & booty day! Friday: Full Body Blast Saturday: Cardio Madness
How many people are there per class?
Each location varies. It can me as little as 5 or as many as 30. We are sure to be prepared for each class size so we can give you the support you need.
What if I don't know how to do the exercises?
In order to get to know you and give you the support you need, as a new client, we will continually watch you every step of the way while you get to know the movements.
What are your membership rates?
Depending on which program you pick, our rates range from $99 to $247 a month. Most of our members fall somewhere in the middle.
What day or class should I start on?
It really doesn’t matter what day you start. More important than what day or class you start on, is just that you’re just starting, don’t try to be a hero and overdue it – Don’t worry, we will be there to support you every step of the way. Many people to tend to start on a Monday.
How early should I come on my first day?
Come about 10-15 minutes early so we can get you ready for your first workout. You can also register online. Once you get our intro deal, you'll need to come in early your first day and our friendly staff will show you how to get all checked in.
What should I wear?
Just wear regular workout clothes, there’s no special dress code. One thing I would recommend is the right shoes. We highly recommend “training” shoes because unlike running shoes, they have a pretty flat tread. This will make it a lot less difficult to have proper form.
What should I bring?
All you need is a workout towel. You can also bring a water bottle if you want to or purchase one from us. But most importantly bring a HEAP of enthusiasm & a smile. We'll take care of the rest.
What should I eat before I workout?
Some people prefer to workout on an empty stomach. I recommend, at least while you are getting acclimated to the program, having an apple about 15 minutes before you workout. Apples, being a medium glycemic food, will help stabilize your blood sugar during a workout.
We do not take what we do lightly and are looking forward to helping you become an even better version of yourself. See you soon!
